A Peeling Thing

Hi I'm D!A, Welcome to my blog that's "a peeling".
My Passions - repurposed items, stressed furniture, raw beach & peeling paint (Which I find apealing) I try (for the most part) to post ideas that one is more apt to achieve in this economy rather than "Are you kidding, I can't do that on my budget"! =O
Please feel free to browse more pages by using the arrow to the right of the Welcome and thanks for coppin a squat at my blog :)

      My White Shabby Chic Mirror
Ok so this is it after I painted a layer or two (still not done). I’ve gouged it, pounded it and scraped it with various tools to make it look as beat up and neglected as possible. Next I painted it white and will be distressing it. Then I’ll be looking for the right hooks to go on the bottom.

Ok I KNOW IT’S BEEN FOREVER AND A DAY to finish this mirror and I still have to get a picture of the progress I’ve made as well - (i will soon) but I just wanted to blog that I finally got some hooks for the bottom to hang jewelry, scarves or what not on it. It will be selling for $40
